What is your favorite subject and why?

By Mya Caldwell

For this article I have decided to do, “What is your favorite subject and why?”

The first person I talked to was Emily Gregg from 6A. When I walked up to her I asked her if I may interview her. She told me that it was OK, so I then asked her, what is your favorite subject and why Emily?

She told me then, “I like Language Arts because I love the book choices, I like reading the books, and during Writing Workshop I love to write because I can write anything I want.” “Thank you Emily,” I said. I then walked away.

The next person I interviewed was Emma Quinlan from 6C. I walked up to Emma and said, what is your favorite subject and why? I told her it was for the newspaper and she said, “Language Arts because I love to read and I love doing creative things in books.” I thanked Emma and then went on to the next person.

The next person I interviewed was Mia D’Avola also from 6C. I asked her what is your favorite subject and why Mia? Right when I asked her she knew it was for the newspaper so she answered and said, “Language Arts because it’s fun but there is also a challenge set forth for you. Also because I love to read books, perform poems, and the main reason why I love Language arts is because my Language Arts teacher, Miss Bernard, has inspired me to do so many things.” Thank you Mia, I said to her.

The last person I interviewed was Genevieve Gaylor. This time it was different. Genevieve asked me if she could be interviewed. I then said, of course! So I asked her, what is your favorite subject and why? She replied and said, “English because I like the discussions we have. I also like it because I like to see other people’s perspective of things.” Thank you Genevieve.

I was really curious of what other people’s favorite subjects are and that’s why I decided to do an article on this. Thank you.
