This year’s Athletic Field Day was a blast! The teams, based off of Star Wars characters, came out with some great spirit and costumes. From a Tusken Raider mask to an Ewok, the teams were quite funny.
The games were interesting, with new games like Dragonball (dodgeball in a circle) and a combination of cornhole, bocce ball and frisbee. The obstacle course and tug of war tested teams’ speed while soccer and football tested their teamwork.
Good sportsmanship was all around, with teams showing the meanings of truth, beauty and goodness. A new tradition was also created: The old seniors vs. teachers tug of war was replaced by the juniors vs. seniors tug of war. The seniors won a fairly impressive victory and the day concluded with a Stormtrooper victory.
It was a fantastic field day and as always, super fun.
