Mrs. Flores and Mrs. Acosta

By Kate Kobierowski

From greeting visitors with smiling faces to giving student late passes, the ladies in the front office are the hidden gems of the TPA community.

Mrs. Flores joined the TPA faculty about three years ago after working at South Mountain Community College and Tempe Union High School District for 34 years. She came out of a brief retirement and  currently  manages  course  and extracurricular activities fees,  collects and applies  payments to  students’ accounts and helps cover the receptionist and attendance area with her co-worker, Mrs. Acosta.

Mrs. Acosta, who has two children at TPA,  has been working at the front office  for almost two years. She says, “I love my job! One of the best things is getting to know the students. The students at TPA are amazing.” Mrs. Acosta handles  attendance and reports, responds to scheduled tours and is always happy to offer a helping hand.

Mrs. Acosta and Mrs. Flores are kind, welcoming and  helpful and the TPA community is lucky to have them as the first faces students and visitors see when entering the school. Thank you to Mrs. Flores and Mrs. Acosta for all the hard work you put in.
